Baylee Evans, LISW
Mental Health & Counseling located in Ohio City, Cleveland, OH
Hi! I’m Baylee, a licensed independent social worker. I specialize in treating eating disorders/disordered eating, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma. In my practice, I strive to provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care that is rooted in anti-oppression and intersectional feminism.
I have had the amazing privilege of serving four years as an eating disorder therapist in a partial hospitalization program. I have experience treating clients with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and OSFED. I am a HAES (health at every size) aligned clinician who believes all foods fit and there is no wrong way to have a body. I am committed to supporting clients to heal their relationships with food and their bodies.
As a queer identifying person, I am deeply passionate about providing safe, affirming, and supportive mental health care to folks in the LGBTQ+ community. I feel incredibly fulfilled when I can provide a safe therapeutic space for clients to heal from specific struggles relating to queer identity such as transphobia, homophobia, heterosexism, harassment, and religious trauma. I am a firm believer that queer joy is an act of resistance.
If you are seeking a therapist to support you in your journey to healing, empowerment, building confidence, or identity exploration, I believe we could be a wonderful match. I provide both in-person and virtual options depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for my clients.
Outside of my role as a therapist, I enjoy hanging out with my two rescue pit bulls, hosting weekly craft nights, and shopping at local flea markets and thrift stores.
